What to expect during your Sales-Ready Website project
In order to build the strongest website possible for your end-users and your business, we need your input on the foundational elements of the website so New Breed can take that info and run. We want to make sure your team has clarity on the level of investment needed from your team over the first few months of the engagement.

Client Intake Document
Over the first month of your partnership with New Breed, we will become intimately familiar with your team, your business, and your end users. In order to hit the ground running, we need to know the underlying information so we can help evolve your business.
Time investment: 1 – 2 hours // 3 – 5 days
How New Breed uses this information: Ideally we get this info before the kickoff meeting so we can have a better understanding of your org. Instead of wasting your time asking these baseline questions, we can ask more in-depth follow-up questions based on your responses.

Website Audit
We know that what got you here won’t get you there. In order to effectively build the best site possible for your business, we need to understand your current position in the market, content strategy and how users understand your value prop and differentiator today.
Time investment: 1 – 2 hours // 2 – 3 days
How New Breed uses this information: Your responses to our questions and comments will help guide New Breed during our sitemap working session and content strategy creation.

URL Sheet and Metrics
New Breed will crawl and group all URLs on your website today. From there, we’ll ask your team to review URLs and indicate which pages we want to keep, delete, or consolidate so we can have a clear map of all necessary site pages as we dive into the site mapping process. This step also ensures we don’t forget or miss any key page types as we proceed.
Time investment: 1 – 3 hours depending on the number of URLs // 2 – 4 days
How New Breed uses this information: Informs information architecture and URL redirect sheet.
Content and UI strategy
Sitemap
New Breed will come to the sitemap meeting with a starting point of your main navigation. We will build the sitemap together so we can discuss best practices and business/persona priorities to determine the main nav and footer.
Time investment: 1-hour meeting, 2 – 3 hours to get internal approval and finalize the sitemap // 2 – 3 days
How New Breed uses this information: the main navigation provides the foundation of the website information architecture. This will guide our design/dev team when building the website and will inform our URL structure.
Key Takeaways
The objective of the Key Takeaways process is to define the content strategy on a per-page basis. This part of the process is the heaviest lift for your team and one of the most important as it informs the wireframes, content creation, and keyword research. The goal of key takeaways is NOT to write all site page content, it is to provide New Breed enough information so we can make informed decisions when determining the user experience and content sitewide.
Time investment: 1-hour meeting, 15 – 30 minutes per page // 3 – 5 days
How New Breed uses this information: Key Takeaways inform wireframes, content creation, and keyword strategy.
Content Outlines
The objective of content outlines is to guide the content creation team to write conversion-driven content within the framework of the modules approved during the wireframes process. Content is crucial to the success of an inbound website; whether New Breed or your team is writing copy, please make sure the right internal experts are reviewing and approving the content before it’s approved.
Time investment (if client is writing): This depends heavily on the volume and detail of content. Typically, the first draft of a single ‘primary’ webpage (e.g. homepage, product page, industry-specific page) takes two hours to draft. With multiple rounds of revisions, each page will take about four hours from scratch to site launch.
Time investment (if New Breed is writing): You can expect to review each page that New Breed writes. Depending on your writing experience and close focus, this can take anywhere from five to sixty minutes per page.
How New Breed uses this information: The content populated in the content outlines will be exactly the copy that appears on your website. New Breed will use this content to build out all site pages (including capitalization, punctuation, etc.)
Design and Site Launch

Module Development Feedback
The objective of Module Development feedback is to ensure the functionality and front-end styling of every module is 100% complete before we create the remaining site pages.
Time investment: 15 – 30 minutes per template // 2 – 4 days
How New Breed uses this information: All feedback provided in this round of review should be limited to UI, module functionality and front-end styling and will be applied across modules sitewide.

Soft Launch Feedback
The objective of Soft Launch feedback is to ensure every aspect of the website is fully functional. New Breed will complete a round of quality assurance before the site is handed off to your team, but we depend on your feedback to make sure the site is fully functional before we go live.
Time investment (if New Breed is copyflowing): 10 minutes per page // 3 – 5 days
Time investment (if New Breed and Client is copyflowing): 10 minutes per page for review // 30 minutes per page for copyflowing // 5 – 7 days
How New Breed uses this information: All feedback provided during this round that is in scope with previously approved deliverables will be implemented before we launch the website.

Website Launch
The objective of Launch feedback is to ensure every aspect of the website is fully functional. New Breed will launch the website, run through the post-launch quality assurance process, and implement QA items before we open it up for feedback from your team.
Time investment: 10 minutes per page // 1 – 2 days
How New Breed uses this information: All feedback provided during this round that is in scope with previously approved deliverables will be implemented based on which items are having the most negative impact on the website.
